Description
The Fusion MAX 2.0 is the second generation of Stealth Cam's Fusion X platform. It keeps the parts that made the original popular, dual-SIM cellular with automatic network selection, On Demand photo and video, and the Command Pro app, and adds an upgraded PIR sensor for longer detection range, 16GB of internal memory, and 1080p video with audio. The 0.4-second trigger and up to 80 feet of infrared reach handle deer moving through at night, and burst mode grabs one to six frames per trigger so you catch the whole group, not just the lead doe.
Setup is quick: scan the QR code in the Command Pro app, pick a plan, and the camera finds the stronger of AT&T or Verizon on its own. Built-in GPS stamps the camera's location so a dozen cameras across a lease stay sorted on the map, and the HuntStand integration puts the same cameras on your hunting app. The housing has an integrated multi-position mount, a 1/4-20 threaded insert for brackets and posts, and a latch with a Python cable provision so the camera stays put.
The camera runs on 16 AA batteries, and that is the problem this combo solves. The included FieldMAX RLCMAX cartridge is a 12V, 5,000 mAh lithium pack shaped to drop into the Fusion MAX 2.0 battery bay. Charge it at home, swap it in the field in seconds, and stop feeding the camera alkalines. For season-long sets, the 12V DC jack also accepts Stealth Cam solar panels and SOL-PAK solar battery packs (sold separately). A Stealth Cam data plan is required for remote delivery; plans start at $5 per month per camera.
