Description
The Sig Sauer ZULU-DMR Carbon Tripod Kit is a full-height support for shooting and glassing. It pairs three-section carbon fiber legs with a 52mm dual tension ball head and an ARCA-Swiss compatible clamp, so it can carry a rifle, spotting scope or binocular on an ARCA rail or the included base plate. Working height runs from 30 to 69 inches, and the rated maximum load is 55 pounds. The finish is Flat Dark Earth.
The ball head has a large locking knob, a separate drag knob that adds tension so the optic or rifle does not drop when the main lock is loosened, and a pan knob for left and right rotation. Each leg has a three-position detent tab for changing its angle, which helps on slopes and in seated, kneeling or standing positions. Rubber over-molded twist locks handle leg length changes.
With the ball head installed the tripod weighs 6.44 pounds and folds to about 31 by 5.9 inches. The kit comes with a carry case, an ARCA-Swiss base plate, and 5 mm and 2.5 mm Allen wrenches. It suits long-range shooters and hunters who want one tripod for both the rifle and the glass.
