Description
The Sig Sauer XRAY5 SIG-LOC Compact is a closed-emitter pistol red dot made for the SIG-LOC COMPACT mounting footprint. It uses Sig's SIG-LOC mount type instead of the standard top-mount Compact pattern, so it is intended for slides cut for SIG-LOC Compact and is a different part from the RMSc footprint XRAY5. The housing is the shorter version at 1.75 inches long and 1.4 ounces with battery. Confirm your slide carries the SIG-LOC Compact cut before ordering.
Instead of mechanical windage and elevation screws, the XRAY5 projects its 3.5 MOA red dot from a 225-pixel LED matrix and moves the aiming point digitally. Zeroing is done with the buttons or through the XRAY5 App, which can save and recall more than one zero profile. The sight also offers 15 brightness levels including two for night vision, MOTAC motion activation, LightFight adaptive brightness and a resettable round counter.
The optical system is fully enclosed, sealed and argon purged, with an IPX-8 rating to 40 meters. A 7075 aluminum body and Grade 5 titanium top cover protect the 24 mm aspheric lens. Power comes from one side-loading CR2032 battery, so the sight stays mounted during battery changes, and run time is listed at up to 10,000 hours. Sig Sauer designs, tests and assembles the XRAY5 in the USA and covers it with its Infinite Guarantee.
