Description
The SIG SAUER ROMEO8H is a closed reflex red dot sight engineered for modern MSR platforms and shotguns. Though it looks like a holographic sight, the ROMEO8 is a rugged closed reflex optic with a large 38 mm rectangular viewing window that provides a wide field of view and excellent situational awareness with both eyes open. SIG's resistance-to-impact construction keeps it running through heavy recoil and hard use.
The Ballistic Circle-Dot reticle offers four selectable configurations — a 2 MOA dot, a 65 MOA circle, and holdover variants — powered by an ultra-efficient red LED for daylight visibility and extended runtime. MOTAC motion-activated illumination wakes the dot instantly when raised and powers down at rest, delivering 100,000+ hours on a single side-loading CR123A battery. SpectraCoat anti-reflection coatings maximize light transmission and clarity, while the aircraft-grade aluminum housing is waterproof (IPX-7) and fog-proof — with unlimited eye relief so you can acquire your aiming point regardless of eye position.
