Description
The ROMEO4T-PRO is Sig Sauer's professional-grade compact red dot, a 1x20mm sight built for hard use on modern sporting rifles, shotguns and large-format pistols. This part number is the Flat Dark Earth finish with the red Quad Ballistic Circle Dot reticle. Apart from the color it matches the black model, so it is the pick for tan or two-tone rifle builds.
The Quad reticle gives four choices: a 2 MOA dot, the dot with ballistic holds, a 2 MOA dot inside a 65 MOA circle, or the circle dot with holds. Sig lists the holdover points for 5.56 NATO and 7.62x51mm NATO. Nine daytime and three night vision brightness levels cover bright sun through use behind night vision, and a top-mounted control gives a direct night vision override.
A half-inch hex bolt mount secures the sight to a Picatinny rail, and two mounting heights are supplied. Flip-back lens covers and an ARD kill-flash are also included. MOTAC powers the reticle up on movement and down at rest, which supports the stated 50,000 hour run time from one CR2032 battery. The sight weighs 6.3 oz and is assembled in the USA.
