Description

This Sig Sauer mount, part number SOR3M100, is a Picatinny riser built specifically for the ROMEO3MAX and ROMEO3XL open reflex sights. It raises either optic to absolute co-witness height, so the dot sits in line with standard height iron sights on an AR style rifle. It is a different part from the SOR2M100 universal reflex sight riser, so confirm your optic model before ordering.

The mount is a single piece in a black finish that clamps to any M1913 Picatinny rail. With it installed, a ROMEO3MAX or ROMEO3XL that started life on a competition pistol can move to a pistol caliber carbine, rifle or shotgun with a top rail. Absolute co-witness keeps backup iron sights centered in the window, which many shooters prefer for a consistent cheek position.

The package is the mount only. The red dot sight is sold separately, and no scope rings are involved because the optic bolts directly to the top of the riser. It is intended only for the larger ROMEO3MAX and ROMEO3XL bodies, so it is not a general purpose riser for other reflex sights.
