Description
The ROMEO-X COMPACT is Sig Sauer's open reflex sight for slim, optics-ready carry pistols. This version combines a black housing with a 6 MOA green dot. The larger dot is quick to find when the pistol comes up on target, which makes it a natural match for concealed carry guns where speed at close range matters more than a fine aiming point for distance work.
It uses the Compact footprint, which follows the Shield RMSc pattern, and is built for the optics-ready P365 family. Sig also lists direct fit with the included hardware on pistols such as the Glock G43X and G48, Springfield Hellcat and Hellcat Pro, Smith & Wesson M&P Shield Plus and Equalizer, Canik Mete MC9 models, Taurus TX22 and FN Reflex. The low deck allows co-witness with standard-height iron sights.
The housing is CNC machined from 7075 aluminum around an aspherical lens. Twelve daytime and three night vision brightness settings are available, MOTAC wakes the dot on movement, and MAGNETAC turns it off in a compatible magnetic holster. The CR1632 battery loads from the side, so a battery change does not require removing the sight. Sig states a 20,000 hour run time, rates the sight IPX-7, and assembles it in the USA.
