Description

The Sig Sauer ALPHA-MSR is a one-piece scope mount for modern sporting rifles. Both rings are part of a single base, so there is no separate base and ring set to line up. This configuration holds riflescopes with a 34mm main tube and has a 1.535 inch mount height, a common choice for flat-top AR-pattern rifles where the scope has to sit high enough for a natural head position.

The mount clamps to an M1913 Picatinny rail using steel 1913-style clamps, and Sig lists the body material as 7075-T6 with 0 MOA of cant. Sig publishes torque values of 65 in/lbs for the 1/2 inch rail nuts and 25 in/lbs for the T15 Torx ring screws, which makes installation repeatable with a torque wrench. The mount is covered by Sig Sauer's Infinite Guarantee.

This is the black 34mm version. Sig also offers the ALPHA-MSR for 30mm tubes and in a coyote finish, and those are separate part numbers that are not interchangeable with this one. Match the mount to your scope's main tube diameter first, then check that a 1.535 inch centerline height gives your objective lens and any front accessories enough clearance over the rail.
