Description
The Rattler-C V2 50-640 is the 640 × 512 resolution member of AGM's second-generation clip-on family. The 12-micron VOx sensor and sub-20 mK sensitivity give it some of the cleanest thermal imagery AGM has shipped, pulling heat signatures out of darkness, fog, smoke, dust, rain, snow and brush at ranges up to 2600 meters. Stadiametric ranging, hot tracking, scene modes and automatic or manual flat-field correction are all built in.
Mounting is the easy part: the included ADM quick-release Picatinny mount sits the unit at a 1.5 inch centerline directly in front of your scope, so you keep your zero and your glass. To attach the clip-on directly to the objective of a day optic instead, add the optional Front Q-R Adapter (sold separately). Each unit ships with two NE-4400 rechargeable batteries for up to 9 hours of continuous use on a charge, and the USB-C port accepts any 5V power bank for all-night sits. The onboard Wi-Fi hotspot streams live video to the AGM Connect app and lets you pull recordings off the 16 GB internal storage without cables.
