Description
The ROMEO-X PRO is Sig Sauer's full-size open reflex sight for optics-ready duty and range pistols. This version pairs a black housing with a 6 MOA green dot. The larger 6 MOA dot is easy to pick up quickly, which suits shooters who put speed on close targets ahead of a finer aiming point at longer distances.
It uses the PRO footprint, so it mounts directly to optics-ready P320, P226 and P229 slides. Sig also lists Glock MOS G17, G19, G26, G34 and G47 pistols as compatible when used with an adapter plate. The housing is CNC machined from 7075 aluminum, the lens is aspherical to limit distortion, and Sig rates the sight for 10mm pistols. The deck sits low enough to co-witness with standard-height irons.
Twelve daytime and three night vision brightness levels are set with buttons on the housing. MOTAC wakes the dot when the pistol moves and powers it down at rest, and MAGNETAC switches it off in a compatible magnetic holster. The CR1632 battery loads from the side, so the sight stays mounted and zeroed during a battery change. Sig states a 20,000 hour run time and assembles the sight in the USA.
