The large 42 mm objective lens diameter lets a lot of light in, even at dawn or dusk, and makes it possible to clearly identify even the smallest details.
The NL Pure 12x42 are reliable, powerful companions in many situations, from mountain terrain to other outdoor settings. Their wasp waist ensures they sit ergonomically in your hand, and for longer periods of use the optional forehead rest is recommended for jitter-free images and to prevent fatigue.
Like all binoculars in the NL Pure series, the 12x42 features innovative SWAROVISION technology. The key element is the field-flattener lenses, which offset the curvature of the field of view to provide edge-to-edge sharpness — the complete image stays sharp from the middle all the way to the edges, with no need to refocus as your eye moves across the image. Special lens coatings combined with the inert-gas filling ensure color fidelity. The NL Pure series is known for an enormous field of view all the way to the edges and precise, razor-sharp images with no distortion.
