Description
The ATS 80 is a high-performance angled spotting scope that delivers outstanding optical quality. The 80 mm objective lens provides higher detail recognition, while a wide exit pupil ensures brighter images and comfortable viewing even in poor light — and the angled view makes hours-long observation comfortable.
Fluoride-containing, premium-glass lenses efficiently transmit all wavelengths of visible light for bright images that are color-faithful, crisp, and rich with detail. Coatings on all lenses minimize glare while maximizing contrast, phase-corrected prisms render images with clarity, and field-flattener lens technology eliminates geometric optical distortion throughout the zoom range. And because life in the field can be messy, the SWAROCLEAN lens coating makes it easier to clean away dirt such as water marks, insect repellents, or tree resin.
The included 20-60x eyepiece features a wide viewing angle and generous eye relief, and quickly attaches to and detaches from the objective assembly's bayonet mount for easy disassembly, transport, and storage. The nitrogen-purged, O-ring-sealed, rubber-armored housing ensures water, fog, and shockproof performance in almost any environment, and a removable sighting aid helps with target acquisition when a camera is mounted to the eyepiece.
