Description

The ROMEO-M17 is Sig Sauer's enclosed pistol reflex sight developed for the M17 and M18 service pistols. This part number is the black housing version, with a red circle dot reticle that combines a 2 MOA center dot with a 32 MOA circle. The reticle can be run as the dot alone, the circle alone, or both together, so the shooter can choose precision or speed.

Fit is specific. The sight uses the SIG-LOC interface and mounts from underneath the slide, reusing the MHS rear sight block and its screw. Sig states it fits only M17 and M18 military-issue and commemorative pistols that have a single optics plate mounting screw, and that it does not fit standard commercial P320 slides. Check the slide before ordering.

The 7075 aluminum housing encloses a sealed and purged optical system, with a gas deflector at the front, anti-glare grooves at the rear and drain holes behind the rear window. Recessed buttons step through 12 daytime and 3 night vision settings, and adjustments click at 1.5 MOA. The CR2032 battery sits in a side compartment with a threaded cap. MOTAC and MAGNETAC manage power automatically.
