Description
The Clarion dual-base-magnification thermal scope is one of the most technologically advanced thermal scopes in the world. It was designed to solve one of the biggest problems night hunters face: choosing which lens size and sensor configuration delivers the right base magnification and field of view for their primary application. The Clarion alleviates that concern with a dual-lens optical system that mechanically alternates between a 35 mm and a 60 mm lens — changing base magnification and field of view with no degradation in image resolution.
With the Clarion 640, night hunters can use the 35 mm lens at 2× base magnification with a wider field of view (12.5° × 10.0°, or 65 ft @ 100 yds), then quickly switch to the 60 mm lens at 3× with a narrower field of view (7.3° × 5.9°, or 38 ft @ 100 yds) to nail positive identification and shot placement. This flexibility lets you optimize the optic for the specific terrain and game you're hunting — whether hogs in the eastern fields or coyotes in the western deserts.
The design is paired with one of the most sensitive thermal sensor ratings in its class at sub-20 mK. AGM didn't cut corners elsewhere either: a 640 × 512 12-micron sensor, removable rechargeable battery (up to 8.5 hours per charge, two included), 10 internal reticles, 5 zeroing profiles, 10 brightness/contrast settings, Wi-Fi hotspot, built-in recording with sound and image capture, AGM Connect app compatibility, 4 reticle colors, 4 color palettes, 5 image-sharpness settings, and a high-quality American Defense mount that works well on both AR and bolt-action platforms.
