Description

The Garmin Varia™ RearVue 820 is Garmin's most advanced rearview bike radar and tail light, alerting you to vehicles approaching from behind through audible and visual cues on a compatible Edge® computer, Garmin watch or the Varia™ app. A new high-resolution 60 GHz radar detects vehicles from up to 175 m away with a wider field of view, and on compatible Edge x40/x50 head units or the Varia app it can show each vehicle's size, lane position and threat level, plus track vehicles following at your same speed. A brighter tail light is visible from up to 2 km (1.24 miles) and adds a distinct brake-light flash pattern to signal when you are slowing or stopping. With up to 30 hours of battery life, USB-C charging and an included aero mount, it is a major upgrade for riders who want to see and be seen. Note: this is a radar and tail light and does not include a camera.
