What kind of cellular plan do I need for my camera?
Spypoint cameras come with a pre-activated SIM card that will connect to the nearest cell phone network. There are no cellphone fees, the only fee will be the photo transmission plan which you can get via the mobile app
Can you use a Spypoint cellular camera without paying for a plan?
Yes, in the settings on your Spypoint app you can toggle the cellular capabilities of your camera off, and then it will function like a normal camera and save images to an SD card. Currently the monthly plan costs $5 / 250 photos, or $10 / 1000 photos, or $15 a month for unlimited photos for a single camera. You can save up to 33% by going with an annual plan.
Do I need to buy a separate SD card for Spypoint trail cameras?
If you are not purchasing a bundle deal which shows an included SD card(and often batteries), you will need to purchase a separate SD card. We have Spypoint specific 16GB SD cards readily available.

Can the Spypoint solar panel keep the camera powered year round?
Yes, the solar panel attached to the 12 volt internal power supply keeps this camera going for as long as you want. The 12 volt power supply keeps the camera powered at night, and is charged during the day via the solar panel.
